Burglar
To dream of a burglar represents feelings about an aspect of your personality that is both dishonest and sneaky. Feelings of insecurity about losing power or stability. Feelings of alarm or shock that an oversight would cause power or stability to be taken from you without asking. Fear of how easily something secure if your life can be taken away if you aren't careful. Feeling violated on a personal level, material, or emotional level. Feeling that something has been taken from you without being able to control it.
Negatively, a burglar could represent your own dishonest attempt to sneak power or resources away from someone else. Feeling that you don't deserve to be robbed of power, status, resources even when you are irresponsible about keeping yourself secure. A possible that you are are aware of how to live a more secure life, but allow irresponsibility or oversights to harm you.
You or someone else that is aware of the harm or failure they are causing. Intentionally doing something wrong while knowing what the consequences are.
Example: A young man dreamed of seeing a burglar walk into his home at night to rob him. In waking life he had ignored some serious school work and got a serious "wake up call" when he got a failing grade that had serious consequences for his final grade. He felt that he is consciously robbed himself of stable academic success.
