Out Of Body Experience

To dream of an out of body experience represents an objective awareness of yourself or who you are as a person. A situation that causes you to see yourself in a new way or be critical of yourself as person. It may also reflect self-criticism or noticing what's wrong with yourself.

Alternatively, an out of body experience may simply be a symbol for awareness of yourself doing nothing or not progressing in some area. Negatively, it may reflect your concern that "every other thing" being done and not the most important issues.

Famous celebrities or people with a public life may dream of standing outside their bodies to reflect their awareness of their public image being different from their private life. The body is then a representation of their awareness of their cultivated famous persona.

Athletes may have out of body experience dreams to reflect their professional concerns with their body being an effective tool to compete.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing himself while he clung to the ceiling. In waking life he was having problems going any further with his personal development spiritually. He was "noticing himself" having reached the limits of personal growth. He felt he couldn't go any further.

Example 2: A man dreamed of seeing himself sitting in bed having hallucinations. In waking life he was aware of himself having hallucinations and choosing to not tell anyone about them or seek treatment.
