Moon

To dream of the moon represents feelings about an area of your life that is becoming unusually amplified with influence. Situations are becoming more hectic, dramatic, or coincidental. Something in your life is becoming more fertile or obvious. An area of your life is becoming heightened to an extreme that is not usual. People's moods are amplified in a way that feels like something strange in in the air. Feelings about "spiritual weather" becoming stronger. 2 or 3 unusual things in a day when they usually never happen. Whether good or bad, luck is in the air. Feeling that God is at work more than usual.

Positively, the moon may represent unusually good luck or positive coincidences. Larger forces seem at work in your life right now. Heightened exciting romantic activity or overpowering romantic feelings.

Negatively, the moon may reflect chaos, madness, or a worsening of problems. Feeling that a situation is out of control or that something dangerous is going overboard. Amplification of problems, chaos, stress, weirdness or something creepy. Unusually bad luck or negative coincidences. Amplified occurrences of coincidences that scare you.

To dream of a red or blood moon may reflect feelings about hectic, dramatic, or "crazy" situations being very dangerous. Impending danger, chaos, or a sense that negative changes are about to occur that you can't do anything about. A sense of doom. Feelings about evil coming back into your life that nobody can do anything about.

To dream of standing on the moon may reflecting feelings of being stuck in a crazy, chaotic, or amplified situation. A dramatic moment or situation that you can't get yourself out of. Feeling totally immersed in the "craziness" of a hectic, dramatic, or coincidental situation.

To dream of moonlight helping you see represent feelings about being given hope from an unusual, chaotic, or hectic source. Feeling that someone is doing something dangerous to help you behind the scenes. Highly unusual advice or help during a big problem. To dream of multiple moons represents several areas of your life are becoming amplified with influence to become hectic, dramatic, or coincidental at the same time. It could represent a feeling of multiple situations becoming overwhelming with chaos, usually lucky or unlucky, hectic or dramatic, and perhaps causing a sense of madness. Alternatively, multiple moons could represent an abundance of luck or positive outcomes in several areas of life simultaneously, indicating that larger forces are working in one's favor. Multiple negative coincidences happening at once.

To dream of a half moon represents a feelings about an area of your life that is becoming unusually amplified with influence, but not 100% hectic, dramatic, or crazy yet.

Example: A woman once dreamed of the moon fading away. In waking life, she had recently completed a very demanding work project that put her reputation on the line. In this case, the fading moon might have symbolized her feelings about the transient nature of an amplified and chaotic situation at her workplace, which was coming to an end.

Example 2: A young man dreamed of seeing a meteor crash into the moon. In waking life, the September 11th, 2001 attack occurred days earlier. In this case, the meteor hitting the moon may have reflected his feelings about the sudden, dramatic change in the global atmosphere, and the heightened sense of chaos, fear, and uncertainty that ensued.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of seeing a half moon that was red and orange. In waking life, she felt that her family life was getting too dangerous because her boyfriend was addicted to drugs and stealing from family members while they had 3 children. She felt her life was only going to get crazier and more hectic if something wasn't done about it. In this case, the half moon may have reflected the heightened sense of chaos, risk, and unpredictability in her family life due to her boyfriend's destructive behavior.

Example 4: A man dreamed of seeing moonlight shining on a forest. In waking life, he was very confused and isolated until an unknown source of assistance gave him hope for the future.

Example 5: A man dreamed of seeing moonlight shut off and daytime reappear. In waking life, he was experiencing a hopeless criminal situation becoming more sane.

Example 6: A young woman dreamed of the moon and felt eerie being alone. In waking life, she was separated from her boyfriend who lived in another US state. The moon in this case may have reflected feelings of amplified loneliness that sets in once and a while with her boyfriend away in another US state.
