Cockroaches
To dream of cockroaches represents feelings of annoyance of undesirability. Feelings about experiencing something you really don't want in your life. (e.g. the feeling you'd get from being around people you find immoral.) Feelings about a situation being low quality, dirty, or poor. A tarnished reputation. Feeling annoyed that undesirable things are happening around you. Feeling annoyed by something subpar. Undesirable imperfections that embarrass you with having trouble being a better person.
Example: A young man dreamed of being surrounded by cockroaches. In waking life, he met an old friend who expressed love to him. He was extremely uncomfortable with this expression of love. In this case, the cockroaches may have reflected how annoying and undesirable it was to have this friend be so honest with him about his feelings.
Example 2: A young man dreamed of using insecticide on cockroaches. In waking life, he was trying to repair an old friendship that had a lot of bad memories and misunderstandings that got in the way. In this case, the cockroaches he used the insecticide on may have reflected his feelings about trying to quickly and conveniently talk away the bad memories or misunderstandings when they came up in conversation with his friend.
Example 3: A woman dreamed of a bonnet being infested with cockroaches. In waking life, she was operating a business that she didn't want to with people that annoyed her. In this case, the cockroaches may have reflected her feelings of undesirability to be near people that annoyed her.
Example 4: A woman dreamed of taking a lot of cockroaches out of her suitcase and then having one cockroach left. In waking life, she struggled to leave her fiance and move on with her life. She kept finding reasons to talk to him to avoid moving. In this case, the cockroaches may have reflected her feelings about having many different reasons to find being married to her fiance annoying and undesirable.
Example 5: A woman dreamed of Jesus placing a cockroach on her head while putting his hand over her mouth. In waking life, she was annoyed by a website forum not allowing her to talk about her religious beliefs. In this case, the cockroach may have reflected her feelings about how annoying, undesirable, and dirty it felt to have people control her on the forum when she thought it was wrong to do so.
Example 6: A person dreamed of moving into a new apartment and seeing millions of cockroaches. In waking life, they stopped smoking marijuana for 4 weeks. In this case, the cockroaches may have reflected their feelings about how undesirable and dirty it felt to be near or talk to people who still smoked marijuana while trying to remain sober.
