You or someone else may be going too far trying to be positive or moral. A code of conduct that feels it's dangerous to notice anything immoral at all while being accepted for it. A fundamental or personal code of safety that you feel must be right that is excessive.
The Koran may be a sign that you need to stop controlling yourself to the point of not being happy.
