Happiness
To dream of happiness represents feelings about liking what is happening in a situation. Satisfaction with your current circumstances. A mirror of waking life feelings. Experiencing relief, comfort, fulfillment, or contentment with how a situation has turned out. Feeling secure or loved. Waking life situations where you feel good about not having to worry about a problem anymore. Optimism, hope, or confidence in the direction your life is taking. Alternatively, happiness may reflect waking life situations where you feel really lucky about something good that has happened. Self-love.
Negatively, happiness in a dream may represent awareness of yourself or other people overdoing liking what is happening in a situation. Wishful thinking or delusions about hoping a bad situation will work out. Jealousy of other people being happy. Compensating, daydreaming, or willful blindness to avoid pain. Feelings about other people being happy to see you fail, Your enjoyment of experiencing others failing.
Happy endings in a dream may reflect positive outcomes that you currently aren't confident enough to believe in. Negatively, they may reflect overconfidence with feeling lucky about an outcome or satisfaction with keeping others down.
Example: A young boy dreamed of his parents being happy together and choosing to not get divorced. In waking life, his parents were getting divorced and there was nothing that could be done to stop it. In this case, the dream most likely reflected the young boy's wishful thinking or irrational hope for his parents to "happily" prefer to get back together.
Example 2: A woman dreamed of feeling happy inside. In waking life, she was very happy to be divorced. In this case, feeling happy inside may have mirrored her feelings about liking no longer being in a relationship that no longer served her.
Example 3: A man dreamed of seeing an evil person being happy to see another person at a disadvantage. In waking life, he felt that someone was happy to experience him being exploited. In this case, the evil person being happy may have reflected his feelings about someone deriving pleasure or satisfaction from his misfortune.
