Cheetahs

To dream of a cheetah represents feeling about behavior that is ignorant and dangerous about being a winner that is faster than someone else without wasting time. Behavior that is exceptionally fast, focused, and effective about reaching goals without wasting time. Speed, precision, competitiveness, or an ability to act decisively when opportunities appear. Your thoughts about quickly pursuing objectives, staying ahead of competitors, or recognizing situations where hesitation could cause you to miss an opportunity. A person or aspect of yourself that is highly motivated, efficient, and capable of rapidly closing the distance between itself and what it wants.

Negatively, a cheetah may represent fear of being unable to "outrun" or get away from your enemies or problems because they are faster than you. Feeling that your enemies or problems are too quick for you to escape a confrontation with. A fear of enemies gaining on you too quickly. Excessive competitiveness or fear of being outpaced by someone else. A situation that is moving too quickly for your comfort, a person who aggressively pursues their goals without considering other people's feelings, or anxiety that you are falling behind. Concerns that someone else's speed, ambition, or effectiveness is making you look inadequate. Reckless haste, acting too quickly without thinking things through, or prioritizing speed over quality and responsibility.

Example: A man dreamed of a cheetah. In waking life, he was going bankrupt and feared that his new business venture wouldn't take off quickly enough to stop him from losing everything he had. He feared being unable to "outrun" bankruptcy. In this case, the cheetah may have reflected his feelings about bankruptcy and financial failure being a fast-moving threat that was gaining on him quicker than he was comfortable with.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of a cheetah in her house. In waking life, she was in the middle of a lawsuit and felt that because of her lawyer's unwillingness to do what she wanted, she couldn't escape serious financial losses that may occur if the person who was suing her wasn't stopped. In this case, the cheetah may have reflected her feelings about the person suing her being an aggressive, fast-moving threat that was causing financial damage, while she felt unable to act quickly enough to protect herself.
