Car Tires
To dream of car tires represents your degree of confidence, self-esteem, and the condition of the ego as you pursue goals. Confidence is reflected in how over or under-inflated the tires are.
To dream of a flat tire by symbolize a lack of confidence. Feeling that something you were doing is not as easy as you first thought it was.
Bald or worn out tires symbolize feelings of powerlessness or a lack of traction to attain desires and goals.
Nails or punctures in the tires represent your thoughts and feelings of criticism you've received, or issues that take away confidence and "deflate" your self-esteem.
Spare tires represent thoughts and feelings you have about alternative choices, or backup plans. Alternatively, spare tires may reflect weight gain.
To dream of overly inflated tires may reflect situations where you have experienced yourself being too confident, with too much self-esteem, or having an "inflated ego." Too much enthusiasm while working towards your goals. Feeling embarrassed or humorous about your excessive enthusiasm. Finding someone else's over-confidence to be ridiculous.
Example: A woman dreamed of driving a car while noticing that she had a spare tire around her waist. In waking life she was heavily pregnant and too focused on doing everything on her own. The spare tire around her waist may have reflected her feelings about the extra weight being important for the baby, but not being important for her.
Example 2: A woman dreamed of driving down a road and getting a flat tire. In waking life she caught a cold while experiencing a lot of success and progress at work.
