Bats
To dream of a bat represents feelings about behavior that's ignorant about dangerous confusion, mixed messages, or being emotionally in the dark that makes you fear that you can't do anything about it. Problems that "stay in the dark" and scare you with having to see them when they "come to light." Concerns about navigating through unclear or unfamiliar situations. Unseen threats that scare you with revealing themselves. Fear of an uncertain problem reemerging.
A bat may be a sign that are getting involved with something that defies your better judgment. If you are getting signals to be careful it may be best to listen to them. Bats represent your inability to see what's going on around you with a clear understanding. A bat suggests that you are entering a dangerous situation blindly.

Example: A woman dreamed of having to kill bats. In waking life, her breast cancer had spread. In this case, the bats may have reflected her need to treat her cancer more aggressively by eliminating unseen threats of bad habits that she didn't believe were a problem until her most recent test scared her that they were.
Example 2: A woman dreamed of seeing a bat. In waking life, she was getting mixed signals from a man she liked. She couldn't tell if he really liked her or not. In this case, the bat may have reflected her confused feelings and fear about not knowing what to say to the man next because he might reject her.
Example 3: A man dreamed of seeing a bat flying towards him. In waking life, he had escaped a very dangerous situation with organized criminals who were coming after him but then kept hearing stories about these criminals being in his neighborhood. He couldn't be certain if he was safe or not. In this case, the bat flying towards him may have reflected his anxiety about the possibility of the dangerous organized criminals suddenly reemerging, making him feel like he could never truly escape or feel safe.
