Principal's Office

Negatively, a professor in a dream may reflect an arrogant wish to avoid listening to someone in your life that is smarter than you at something. To dream of a prom represents feeling good being finished developing yourself in some way. Showing off or celebrating your accomplishments. Enjoying something you've pushed yourself hard to earn. Feeling impressed with yourself. A beautiful ending to a challenging time.

Alternatively, a prom may reflect acknowledgment of a milestone that has been reached. High expectations or enthusiasm for the future.

To dream of not enjoying your prom may reflect a person or situation that is 'raining on your parade" or "stealing your thunder." Feeling unable to enjoy your accomplishments.

Quiz

To dream of a quiz represents feelings about a situation or phase in your life where you are being tested or challenged to prove your knowledge or capabilities about being up to date. To dream of reading a book represents ideas, insights, or answers to problems you are considering. Telling yourself what to do to follow an expert advice. Considering all options. An open-minded attitude to new ideas. Reading may also reflect your own experience that you are falling back on to deal with a new situation or problem.

Negatively, reading may be a sign that you have badly preconceived ideas about how to act under certain conditions due to past experiences. Telling yourself to think or act in certain ways to new problems based on old or outdated methods. Controlling yourself or using bad habits for no other reason except because it works. Blindly following bad ideas.

Example: A woman had a recurring dream of reading a red book. In waking life she her marriage was in jeopardy due to her cheating on her husband. In waking life whenever the topic of her marriage would come up she would always repeat to herself that she was bad and that everything was her fault.

Recess

To dream of recess represents a temporary relief or distraction from a issue that worries you, or requires a lot of your attention.

Report Card

To dream of a report card represents feelings about how well you have performed in a waking life situation. It may also reflect insight or input from others about an achievement you've realized.

Positively, a report card may reflect confidence that nobody can laugh at your performance. Positive feedback from authority figures that makes you look good to others. Feeling that your performance was judged exceptional above others.

Negatively, dreaming about a report card may reflect anxiety about looking stupid or not having performed as well as you were expected to. Feedback from authority figures that embarrasses you. Feeling that you've been judged on your performance as being less exceptional than other people. Thinking that "passing" someone else's expectations is good enough. Example: A student dreamed of getting a 60% passing grade for a class they were having trouble with. A few days later they actually got a 60% passing grade. The dream may have been intuitive, while also signaling the dreamer's heightened degree of acceptance for their unexceptional performance.

Example 2: A young man dreamed of getting a very good report card that showed that he had very few areas that he needed to improve upon. In waking life he had passed a very hard test that he believed was the hardest test you can pass. He was slowly becoming annoyed by his teachers continuing to force discipline on him that would take years to perfect himself with.

To dream of a ruler represents a careful analysis of a situation or other people. You may be examining, observing, or comparing something. A ruler could also represent measuring how powerful, valuable, or important something is.

You may also be considering a number of factors before making a decision, or double-checking something.

If you attack something in a dream with a ruler it may reflect your objectivity or criticism of a problem. You may be confronting a situation by examining all possibilities or weaknesses.

Scholarship

To dream of a scholarship represents advantages you have during times of stress or anxiety. Special benefits or support you've gained through a close relationship. A scholarship may be a sign that you have more resources or opportunities than others.

To dream of wanting or working towards a scholarship represents a desire to feel special or be supported in difficult times.

Science

To dream of science represents situations in your life that are experimental about problem-solving. Trying out new ideas, new habits, or new methods of dealing with problems. In this case, the science class may have reflected serious thinking and anxieties about how to test out ways of getting closer to her crush without ruining the existing relationship.

Scissors

To dream of scissors represents decisiveness, emotional separation from issues, or getting rid of something. You may be making a choice, or cutting something out of your life. It may also reflect some area of your life being severed.

Negatively, scissors in a dream could reflect a fear of being cut off or quickly "severed" from an area of your life. Fearing being fired too easily or broken up with by your partner without any discussion. A decisive action that is not in your best interest. Alternatively, from a negative perspective a pair of scissors in a dream may reflect your own insensitive actions to severe ties or relationships you don't want anymore. A lack of consideration about other people's feelings when you quickly take things away from them.

Example: A woman dreamed of being chased with scissors. In waking life she was having anxiety about being accused of stealing from work and getting fired for it even though she knew he was innocent. She feared the quick decisive action of her employer to fire her without question.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of scissors. In waking she was concerned about a breakup with her boyfriend. The scissors in this case may have reflected her feelings about the choice to break up or "cut ties" with her boyfriend.

Sports

To dream of sports represents issues that you are struggling with. The opposing teams represents mental or emotional conflict between positive and negative aspects of your personality. The ball represents the a specific issue.

To dream of playing sports at school represents anxieties or personal issues that you are struggling with. You have concerns or interests that are presenting challenges to you in your life. You may have anxiety or concerns about being the best that you can.

To dream of a student loan represent feelings about a need to responsibly take action with your problems and not just worry about them. Feeling the need to address be problems responsibly on your own time. Awareness of yourself needing to deal with your own problems and not expect others to fix them for you.

Negatively, it may reflect too much time spent being concerned about a problem without taking serious steps to address the problem. Worrying about a problem without taking any action.

Example: A young woman dreamed of being in court over a student loan. In waking life she felt that she was being judged after getting advice about needing to get a pregnancy test done after spending too much time worrying about being pregnant and not taking any serious action to verify it with a test.

To dream of students represents aspects of your personality with issues that interest or worry you. You are concerned about something or experiencing anxiety about something.

The clothes, skin color, actions, or words spoken by a student reflect how you are approaching an issue that concerns or worries you.

To dream of being a student reflects your concern or anxiety about certain issues or situations. You care about what you are thinking or are worried about something.
