Floor

To dream of a floor represents the theme or tone to your involvement in a situation. The condition, color, or type of floor reflects the overall feeling of everything you are doing in your life. For example, a black and white checkered floor would reflect the overall feeling of your life being imbalanced, unpredictable, or chaotic.

To dream of hardwood floors represents the theme or tone of a situation revolving around being powerful without having to be comfortable. Feeling a sense of winning or attractiveness that isn't always sensitive to your feelings. The thrill of success or achievement with the overriding requirement to keep working.

To dream of objects on a floor represents ideas, goals, behaviors, or situations that are on hold or waiting to be restarted. Something in your life that may not be necessary for the moment.

To dream of walking along a floor represents reflect progression or a transition in your life. Consider any colors or designs on the floor to reflect how you may feel as this is happening.

To dream of going to the wrong floor in a building represents situations where you feel stupid for thinking clearly about your efforts to do something differently. Not doing enough or doing too much. Forbidden Rooms

To dream of a forbidden room may represent feelings about areas in your life that you think are off-limits, risky, or bring about consequences that are too great to bear. These could be repressed desires, unspoken issues, or actions you fear to take due to potential backlash or danger involved.

Positively, dreaming about a forbidden room may be a warning to tread carefully in areas where you may be contemplating risky behavior. It might be a warning or a sign for you to assess the situation more carefully before proceeding.

Negatively, a forbidden room in a dream may reflect the barriers you've built around certain aspects of your life or personality that you're not ready or willing to confront. Fear, guilt, or shame that prevents you from approaching these 'forbidden' topics, holding you back from finding resolution or peace. In this case, the forbidden room may have reflected her feelings about seeking a divorce being a dangerous or off-limits area of her life she wanted to explore. Her fear of her husband's potential violent reaction should she proceed with the divorce.

Fort

To dream of a fort emotional fortitude. Feelings of being "always on guard" about an issue. Constantly being put on the defensive. Refusing to accept something at all costs. Holding on tight with all your strength. You may be experiencing a very difficult or demanding situation.

To dream of your fort being under attack represents feelings of being emotionally attacked or invaded. Someone may be trying to control you or destroy your perseverance or emotional fortitude.

Fortress

To dream of a fortress represents strong internal barriers you are setting up. Strongly defending certain ideas, habits, or situations. A perspective on a situation where you refuse to tolerate change or compromise at all.

Alternatively, a fortress may be a sign that you are putting up a barrier between you and others. Shutting down emotionally or stubbornly refusing to listen at all costs.

Foundation

To dream of the foundation of a home or building represents your core or fundamental strengths. A support system. Something you have or live with that gives you a sense of stability. The groundwork or framework of your success or power.

To dream of laying the foundation of a home or building represents important first steps being taken to insure stability for the long term. Getting yourself well prepared before making a big decision. Laying the groundwork of a relationship or project. Making good or powerful start.

To dream of a cracked or damaged foundation to a home or building represents feelings that your core strengths are effected. A powerful sense of support or accomplishment may feel compromised. It may also reflect feelings about a major oversight.

Example: A woman dreamed of seeing a foundation to a house ready for a home to be built on top of it. In waking life she prepared to leave her job for another job not realizing that her current boss would never sign her resignation form to release a pension. The foundation in this case may have reflected the dreamers naive feelings about being perfectly prepared with a "foundation to a new career" to build a new happy life without conflict.

Front Yard

To dream of a front yard represents issues or situations that you like noticing about yourself. Things you want to think about or have others notice you for. Situations you approve of. Enjoying being acknowledged in a positive way. Pleasant feeling attention. Feeling good about accomplishments or hard work on display. Awareness of yourself winning or being more incredible than other people.

Negatively, a front yard may reflect your enjoyment of experiencing other people jealous of you. It may also reflect approval of a negative situation that is less dangerous than you were expecting. Problems you feel good knowing you can use to your advantage.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing a person from high school that he didn't like in the front yard to a home. In waking life he inherited a family property with full control and his Uncle was jealous and making powerless legal threats. The front yard symbolism may have reflected the dreamers pleasant feelings of being too powerful for his jealous Uncle to stop him while he enjoyed his new wealth. He was also enjoying being viewed by others as richer and more powerful than they were.

Example 2: A man dreamed of standing in his own front yard. In waking life he was witnessing a corrupt dishonest business partner becoming jealous of his renewed financial power after a very long time of experiencing this corrupt business partner ignore him to avoid paying money. He felt good having renewed leverage he could use to manipulate and control his corrupt dishonest business partner.

Funhouse

To dream of a carnival funhouse represents feeling of fear or frustration that you can't get out of a situation. Feeling trapped in a terrible temporary situation. Feeling that everyone is laughing at you because you are stuck with a problem. Feeling trapped with everyone thinking you are total loser. Feelings about people enjoying seeing you lose.

Negatively, a funhouse may be a sign that you have serious insecurities about the loyalty of your friends and family. It may also be a sign that you have too many unloving people around you. Problems asking people to be more supportive of you. Problems discussing your insecurities and trust issues.

Example: A woman dreamed of being stuck in a carnival funhouse. In waking life he was pregnant and unmarried. She feared that her husband would cheat on her while she was heavily pregnant and that everyone she knew would think was a total loser in life. The funhouse may have reflected her feelings about being trapped in a heavy pregnant body that was too unattractive to love while also feeling stupid for having gotten pregnant while unmarried.

Furnace

To dream of a furnace represents feelings about a stable sense of comfort from terribleness. The stability of parents, jobs or partners paying bills. Keeping comfortable or "warm" from terribleness as though it doesn't matter. Confidence in a relationship that is unquestionable and rationally adjusts without conflict.

Example: A man dreamed seeing his wife taken into a furnace by kidnappers where he was told she would be executed. In waking life he wanted to leave his wife. Seeing his wife taken to the furnace by kidnappers and then being told his wife was going to be executed in the furnace may have reflected his feelings about changes to his wife's personality driving his marriage to a relationship that does nothing except keep the bills paid and bring a general sense comfort in the marriage...followed his wish to move on from his wife.

Furniture

To dream of furniture represents how you want to feel about yourself as a person. Self-image or the impression of your views you give to others. It may also reflect how you want others to perceive you as a person in a particular situation. The perception of attitudes, beliefs, or your personality that is given off.

Consider the style of furniture for additional meaning. Antique furniture may reflect old fashioned values or "old school" ideas.

To dream of broken furniture may reflect feelings of being unable to relax or feel normal at all. Feeling that your ability to have a normal life is "broken." Broken furniture is a common dream symbol for people recovering from injuries. Negatively, it broken furniture may be a sign that you are too tired to do anything about a problem that keeps bothering you.

Example: A man dreamed of an old fashioned wooden washing machine being used as furniture. Garage

To dream of a garage represents mental and emotional idleness and inactivity. Things you think that you don't want to change or have no motivation to do anything about. Something you've put off or haven't bothered to deal with in a very long time.

To dream of looking at a garage or thinking of putting something in the garage may reflect your consideration of putting some area of your life off until a later time. Choosing to be idle or discontinue being active. Alternatively, it may reflect your preparation to stop being idle in some way.

People, animals, or objects in a garage are symbols for what it is you have been idle and inactive about.

Example: A man dreamed of walking with his father into a garage filled with deformed cats. In waking life he had made the decision to undergo therapy to discuss longstanding problems and he began to realize that many of the problems were delusions and self-deceptions he held about himself.

Garden

To dream of a garden represents something meaningful that is developing in your life. Developing in new ways or growing as a person. You are cultivating or slowly growing some new area of your life. A garden may also reflect a learning experience or teaching others something that takes time. New ideas that take time to develop.

Alternatively, a garden may reflect your to ensure safety or security for the long term.

A garden with very small plants represents the beginning of slow developments in your life. Skills or projects that will take time to mature and grow.

To dream of working in a garden may reflect personal time spent on improving yourself for the long-term. Weight loss or improving skills that give you confidence.

To dream of an evil garden symbolizes bad habits or a negative life situation that are slowly developing in your life. It may also point something a slow process of perfectly your revenge on someone. A "grand scheme" or long term plan with bad intentions.

To dream of a garden with vegetables or fruits symbolizes the slow development of certain characteristics based on the symbolism of those foods. Gas Station

To dream of a gas station represents habits that give you emotional or psychological sustenance. Something you need to have or need to feel in order to continue with the direction you life is taking. Example 2: A young man dreamed of needing to go to a gas station. In waking life his relationship with his girlfriend was getting boring and felt the needed to try new things to keep the relationship going.

Example 3: A man dreamed of being at a gas station and spilling gas while filling up the gas tank in his car. In waking life he felt that he was living a dangerous excessive lifestyle which he was trying hard to maintain.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of having to visit a gas station. In waking life life she had the flu and felt the need to rest to restore her energy.

Example 5: A woman dreamed of seeing her boyfriend at a mechanic gas station. In waking life she was comfortable keeping her current relationship going while secretly wanting to try talking to another man. The gas station in this case may have reflected her feelings about the work or effort to keep her current relationship interesting.

Gazebo

To dream of a gazebo represents feelings of being content with your life. Happiness with your life the way it is. A situation that feels lovely, family oriented, safe, or comfortable waiting. Enjoying a situation that is free from conflict or anger. Feeling like a genius who can't lose while you wait for your plans to unfold. A situation that noticeably without jealousy. Ghost Town

To dream of a ghost town represents a loss of socialization and a feeling of abandonment in relationships or interactions with others. A disconnection from a community or group of people that once provided a sense of belonging. You may have noticed that a relationship or interaction between others is no longer as desirable or interesting as it once was. It may also reflect abandonment of friendships or a "cool place to be." Feeling that old friends don't care who you are anymore. Nostalgia about old locations were friends have moved on long ago.

Example: A man dreamed of walking through a ghost town. In waking life, he was experiencing covid-19 pandemic related anxiety. In this case, the ghost town may have reflected the stark change in his social life due to restrictions and lockdowns, feeling as though his once bustling life had become deserted and desolate.

Example 2: A young woman dreamed of a tourist ghost town. In waking life, her workplace office was moving to a new location. In this case, the tourist ghost town may have reflected her feelings about having moved most of her belongings to the new office building and visiting her old workplace one last time. The old workplace was usually a place lively and familiar that now felt deserted and abandoned.
