Motel

To dream of a motel represents a perspective on a situation where you feel the need to use someone temporarily. Feeling that can do whatever you want as long as someone else isn't bothered by it. Freedom to do things by yourself as long as certain conditions are met.

Negatively, a motel may be a sign that you feelings of embarrassment that you need to use a resource or person. Humiliation or annoyance for having to temporarily move back into with your parents.

Example: A young man dreamed of being in a motel and being scared. In waking life due to financial problems he was temporarily living at home with his mother and was scared he would become a loser who would never move out.

Moving

To dream of always keeping yourself moving around (not stopping or standing still) represents indecisiveness. It may also reflect discomfort settling on a choice. Negatively, it may reflect erratic behavior. Positively, always moving around may reflect progress or momentum.

To dream of moving homes represents a process of change you are experiencing. One life perspective or outlook is being replaced with another. Awareness of some area of your life changing of transforming. Your perspective on a situation is changing. Experiencing advancement, loss, or a new way of thinking. A change in how you see life or feel about a situation.

Negatively , to dream of moving homes represents life changes that feel forced on you (e.g aging, losing a job). You may feel that you are losing power, status, or resources. Accepting a reduction of power or feeling downgraded in life.

To dream of someone moving into your home represents your feelings about a change that has occurred to you in some way. People you like moving into your home may represent welcome changes. People you don't like moving into your home may represent feelings of being stuck with a new problem or added burden.

To dream of constantly moving to different homes represents difficulty making a final decision. It may also reflect a chaotic situation that prevents you from keeping any choices you've made. Feeling that nothing is staying the same in your life.

Museum

To dream of a museum represents self-reflection of your own personal history. Past merit or accomplishments. Things from your past that you like or memories that you value. Objects in the museum symbolize memories and talents. It may also reflect cultural heritage. Feelings about some area of your life that doesn't matter anymore.

Dreaming of a museum may be a sign that something from your past has a bearing on a present situation. You may be nostalgic. learning about your past.

Negatively, a museum may be a sign that you have outdated ideas or are living in the past. Feeling that it's dangerous or a bad idea to be nostalgic with someone you are not interested in knowing anymore.

Example: A man dreamed of wanting to go to a museum, but then thinking of it like it was a bad idea. In waking life he was trying to permanently ignore a woman he was dating. He felt that if he talked to her again, remembering all they went through together, that he may have to keep dating her. The museum in this case may have reflected his negative feelings about the potential to reestablish his relationship with the woman if he bothered to have personal discussion about history of his relationship with her when the relationship was of no value to him anymore.

Nightclub

To dream of a nightclub represent preoccupation with excitement and winning. It may also be a sign that you are very concerned with having a non-stop good time or always being noticed by others as a happy winner.

Negatively, a nightclub may be a sign that you are too concerned with being liked, belonging, or being attractive. Showing off and feeling good come before other people's problems. The dream may also be a sign that you need to slow down your lifestyle or try being a little more serious.

Nursing Home

To dream of an old age nursing home represents feelings about a situation almost being over. Sensitivity about about losing time, having to settle down, or having to get realistic about getting older. Feeling that an eventual ending is inevitable, but that there is still lots of time.

Negatively, a nursing home may reflect feelings of being too old to do something anymore. Stress or frustration with having to care about someone who is too old or impotent to care for themselves anymore. Feelings about death or failure being inevitable while you try to be enjoy anything else at all.

Nursing homes in dreams are common to people who have elderly parents that they don't expect to live for much longer.

Example: A woman dreamed of trees being cut down in front of a nursing home. In waking life her father died and she felt bad about having lost the remaining time she felt she had left with his father.

Office

To see an office in your dream represents seriousness about something you are thinking. You may be spending a lot of time studying something or improving yourself in some way. Being very focused on figuring out problems, and working towards a future goal. A time of self-improvement, or personal growth.

To dream of your father in an office may reflect your serious decisions you are considering. A serious focus on studying what is right or wrong. Your conscience is "at work." Focusing on a problem or finding things about yourself that you can improve. It may also reflect conflict with serious decisions you are making. Feeling that a previous choices are overshadowing your current focus.

Example: A woman dreamed of her office being closed. In waking life she was in the process of changing careers, but felt she had to come to her job to please her clients.

Example 2: A young man dreamed of being in his home office with his father. In waking life he was studying hard in religious school about what is considered oral and what isn't.

Opera

To dream of being at the opera represents situations where you and others are expected to perfectly adhere to higher standards of maturity or more respectable codes of conduct. Having to blend in with rich people, snobs, weddings, good schools, or upscale events.

A concerted effort to behave perfectly intelligent, responsible, or sophisticated around other people. A situation that motivates you to behave or be more mature than usual. "Putting your best face on" for a special occasion. A area of your life where you feel the need to act perfect. Feeling good acting perfectly respectable or adult.

Negatively, dreaming about an opera may reflect peer pressure you feel in social situations that are dominated by rich people. It may also reflect your dislike of rich people or having to conform during special occasions like weddings.

Example: A young girl dreamed of having a knife fight at the opera. In waking life she dressed like a Goth and attended a school with a lot of students she described at "rich preppies." The opera reflected her school having lots of rich people with high standards for mature behavior that she was expected to conform to.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of her fiancee not wearing pants while attending an opera. In waking life she was about to get married and was having wedding rehearsals which she felt her fiancee was not giving a lot of effort towards.

Ottoman

To dream of an ottoman represents a higher degree of comfort in choosing to do nothing about a situation or problem. Noticing yourself being lazy or purposely not taking action.

Negatively, an ottoman may reflect avoidance or making excuses. It may also reflect an excessive preference for procrastination.

Alternatively, an ottoman may reflect your preoccupation with relaxing or taking time off. Choosing to slow down.

Example: A young man dreamed of hiding under an ottoman. In waking life he had pretended he was asleep to avoid confronting an angry parent over an important issue.

Oven

To dream of an oven represents a wish to slowly and perfectly prepare for something in your life. Taking the time to make sure something you want to experience is just right. Preparation that takes time or care.

To dream of a broken oven may reflect feelings of being unable to be as careful or thoughtful about doing something as you'd like.

To dream of a pantry represents feelings about your reserves, resources, or readiness to deal with life's demands with a sense of never being embarrassed running out of whatever you need. Feelings about being resourceful or prepared enough to not have to ask for help or deal with anyone else's problems in order to do things yourself or deal with problems on your own. Your ability to safely prolong avoiding being jealous of "running out" ideas, options, or excuses that sustain a current situation. Resourcefulness that temporarily allows you to avoid jealousy or being desperate of being unable to keep a situation comfortably sustained.

Negatively, dreaming about a pantry may represent relying on lies to comfortably sustain a facade or lie without anyone being aware of it for a little bit longer while being aware that you can't continue forever. Awareness of nobody else being aware of you comfortably sustaining a lie or running out of excuses yet.

To dream of hiding in the pantry may represent thoughts about hiding or avoiding a problem using your resources or solutions you've stored up. Prolonging avoiding the jealousy of telling the truth with every lie or excuse available because it's easier.

Example: A woman dreamed of seeing a little boy who had a boyfriend talking and eating with each other inside a pantry. In waking life, she was keeping a very negative part of her life hidden from her boyfriend and it was just getting worse and worse. In this case, the pantry may have reflected her feelings about temporarily avoiding jealousy of needing to tell the truth by using every available lie or resource for as long as she could comfortably sustain keeping the lie hidden.

To dream of a patio represents your openness about yourself. An attitude of not thinking that anything really matters. Feeling you can freely say whatever you want.
