Exams

To dream of taking an exam represents a very challenging situation in your life that may require your complete focus or dedication. A challenge that may foster powerful uncertainties, require a lot of preparation, or put a lot at stake. An exam dream may stand as a barometer of pressure you're feeling.

To dream of failing an examination may reflect an inability to prove yourself, overcome a challenge, or a sense of personal failure. Feeling that you didn't perform adequately or live up to expectations. It may also reflect your worst fear coming true.

To dream of being unprepared for an exam may reflect your feeling of lacking of preparation or that you didn't listen to a warning. Feeling accountable for the failure of a project or plan. You may be expecting too much of yourself.

To dream of being excited represents feelings of anticipation or enthusiasm about something in your waking life. It may symbolize the energy and enthusiasm you feel towards a new project, idea, or opportunity. Dreaming of being excited may also reflect a sense of adventure, curiosity, and willingness to take risks or try new things. Alternatively, it may reflect an inner desire for stimulation and excitement in your waking life.

Negatively, dreaming of being excited may represent over-eagerness or impulsivity that could lead to poor decision-making. In this case the enemy being excited may have reflected the dreamer's awareness of the enemy's malicious intentions and enthusiasm to cause harm or disappointment.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of talking to her boyfriend over Skype and feeling his excitement throught he laptop screen before the excitement feeling faded away quickly. In waking life she was having a long distance relationship with her boyfriend and having issues with fully believing that her boyfriend loved her. In this case the fading excitement may have reflected her fear that the initial excitement and passion in their relationship was diminishing and that her boyfriend's feelings for her were fading away. It could also reflect her own waning enthusiasm for the relationship due to the distance and the difficulties that come with it. The dream may be highlighting her desire for more sustained and meaningful excitement in her relationship, rather than a fleeting and temporary feeling.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of Jesus on a cloud being excited about telling her that God wanted her to return to heaven immediately. In waking life she was was very focused on getting closer to God while fearing her boyfriend leaving her. In this case seeing Jesus being excited may have reflected the dreamer's hope and optimism for a positive outcome in her spiritual journey, despite her fears and uncertainties in her personal relationships.

Execution

To dream of an execution represents a deliberate elimination of some area of your life. It may also reflect your feelings of having to wait for an inevitable failure. A crucial deadline. Dreading an ending or consequences for an unforgivable action. An untreatable illness.

To dream of being executed represents your feelings about being deliberately eliminated from a situation. You may feel like you are on the "chopping block" of life, like there is a lot at stake, or are fearing failure. Fearing being fired from a job for poor performance. Fear of not meeting an important deadline. Feeling cut off or that your life is hopelessly failed.

Example: A woman dreamed of waiting for her execution. In waking life she was stuck in an unhappy marriage and felt that waiting or hoping for a solution would inevitably waste her life. She felt that by choosing to stay in her marriage she was potentially "killing off" she chances for future happiness.

Example 2: A man dreamed of waiting to be executed. In waking life he was dying of cancer. He feared he could die the next day.

Example 3: A man dreamed of fearing the possibility of being executed. In waking life he was very sensitive about performing well at work and fearing losing his job if he didn't.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of watching someone being executed. In waking life she couldn't pay her water bill and was fearing the inevitable moment when the city water department would shut her water off.

Example 5: A woman dreamed of a baby being ordered to be executed. In waking life she was having second thoughts about a relationship she had started and felt it may be best to coldly end it.

Exercise Room / Weight Room

To dream of an exercise room, or weight room represents your mindset being focused on improving or strengthening some area of your life. Trying to be the best you can be.

If you see evil people, people dressed in red, red objects, or red light in a weight room this symbolizes negative habits or thinking patterns that may be getting out of control. You may be increasing fear, dishonestly, or arrogance in some way.

Exercising

To dream of exercising represents feelings about preparations or practice. A wish to prevent yourself from looking like a loser. Trying hard to maintain a winning position or leading role. Feeling the need to keep skills strong. A mindset that focused on training. Feeling highly focused on not losing an important opportunity to win. Concerns about school work not being good enough or being behind on homework.

Negatively, dreaming of exercising may reflect situations where you are exhausting yourself trying to prevent yourself from looking like a loser. Trying too hard to prepare for a conflict or challenge. Fear of accepting yourself weaker or less skilled than someone else. An excessive drive to prevent losing. To dream of a dead body being exhumed represents feelings about reexamining old issues. Getting to the root of a problem that was overlooked. A need to return to issues that were put to rest. Issues with trusting a story you were told. Reexamining suspected lies. Feeling that it's important to have to deal with an issue again.

Negatively, exhuming a dead body may reflect problems with letting go of the past. Returning to old problems, bad habits, or bring up topics again that were already moved on from. Rethinking about a dead person you already grieved for.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing his recently deceased pet duck exhumed. In waking life he had tried to grieve and get over the death of the pet duck, but couldn't. He felt the need to look at pictures, objects let over that were associated with the pet, and to talk about the dead pet to friends. He was having issues letting go of the dead pet and kept bringing it up in conversations.

Exile

To dream of being exiled represents you or someone else that is willfully closing themselves off from people or situations. The decision to exclude yourself or some area of your life. Feelings of estrangement or abandonment. A longing to belong. Alternatively, it may also reflect your choice to publicly abandon current beliefs or habits and keep them private.

To dream of an exit represents your wish to find a way out of a waking life situation.

To dream of looking for an exit may represent your desperation or urgent wish to avoid a situation. It may also reflect a wish to avoid keeping promises or having to talk to someone.

Exorcism

To dream of an exorcism represents an attempt to force enormous positive change where you or someone else is consumed by a powerful negative influence. It may also reflect extraordinary measures being taken to control an addiction or dangerous manipulative influence. A powerful need to purity or cleansing in your life.

An exorcism may also reflect cutting off something dangerous "cold turkey." Preoccupation with resisting a long standing problem. Your initiative to regain control.

Example: A woman dreamed of performing an exorcism on her son. In waking life she was trying very hard to get her children back after child protection services took them away. The exorcism most likely reflected the powerful need to perfectly remove all negativity from her home life to please the bureaucracy of government that was terrifying her family life. The exorcism may also reflect her feelings about how "demonicly possessed" the government felt taking her kids away while she was desperately trying to restore sanity to her home life by proving herself to them.

To dream of having expenses represents sacrifices that have to be made in order to achieve a goal or outcome. Your personal cost to get what you want.

Alternatively, expenses may reflect responsibilities or obligations you have.

Experiment

To dream of an experiment represents new ideas you are trying. You are taking a chance or seeing what happens. You may be merging different areas of your life or doing something you've never done before.

An experiment may reflect your curiosity or adventurous attitude.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing lab filled with experimental beakers. In real life he was having serious problems with his website business and was trying a number of different scripts to see if they would improve his website's performance.

Expiration

To dream that there is an expiration on something represents your feeling that time may be running out. You may feel that an opportunity is at risk or that you'll miss your chance. You may feel a need for expediency. You may fear that you'll never complete a project or task.

Consider the numbers of the expiration date for additional meaning.

Explore

To dream of exploring represents thoughts of taking the time to understand a situation. Thoughfully understanding a new situation. A new situation in your life that needs to be understood because it's never happened before. Learning about something happening in your life. Discovering possibilities without knowing what is going to happen next in life. You might be "exploring" other options. Job hunting, changing jobs, or researching employment options. Learning about new things to do when your life changes. Believing that something else might happen. Looking into things happening that you never thought could happen. Attempting to think and act in new ways. Understanding yourself in new ways.

Negatively, dreaming exploring may represent wasting time looking at all your options without taking any of them. Wasting time understanding a situation without ever beign concerned with doing anything serious.

Example: A woman dreamed of exploring a new stone house that was flying in a sky. In waking life she quit her job and began her new retired life with some doubts about how to afford it financially. The exploring in this case may have reflected her trying to understand retirement or finding out what happens with retirement every day after beginning retirement.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of being in a hotel and decided to explore an open room. In waking life she wasn't happy with her current job and was looking into getting a job at a library that she loved. In this case the exploring of an open room may have reflected her attempt to look into the possibility of getting a new job.

Example 3: A young man still in highschool dreamed of exploring the basement of a building and feeling fear. The more he explored the scarier it got. In waking life he was close to graduation and beginning to experience anxiety about what his future would be. The exploring of the basement that scared him may have reflected his attempts to research career options seriously and feeling that he might screw his life up if he didn't choose well.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of exploring a house. In waking life she recently found out that she was Jewish and was researching a family tree.

Example 5: A man dreamed of exploring a bedroom. In waking life he was trying to understand his private feelings for a female friend whom he had romantic feelings for.

Example 6: A woman dreamed of exploring an area. In waking life she was in the process of changing her job. The exploring in this case may have reflected her attempt to look into and understand new employment possibilities.

Explosion

To dream of an explosion represents waking life situations that have intensified. Situations that are explosive, dramatic, sudden, or intense. Negatively, an explosion may be a sign that a situation has gotten a lot worse. Financial problems, situations getting out of hand, or experiencing a crisis. A release of tension erupting in an argument.

Alternatively, dreams about explosions could represent your fear of problem worsening or causing you an enormous embarrassment.

Example: A young girl had recurring nightmares for ever a year about explosions going off. In waking life had suffered a very serious seizure. Although she was properly medicated and hadn't had a seizure in over a year she was still fearing another one.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of an explosion going off. In waking life a huge fight had erupted in her home with her family.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of a plane exploding. In waking life she had heard news about the 2008 financial crisis that devastated her confidence in the economy and her future plans.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of seeing buildings exploding. In waking life her mother had suffered a serious heart attack.

Example 5: A woman dreamed of seeing planes exploding. In waking life she had gotten into a huge argument with her brother over wedding details which he was managing and now didn't know what to do to keep the wedding planning process going.

Example 6: A man dreamed of running away from explosions. In waking life he was trying desperately to escape serious financial problems that were erupting in his life.
