Lost

To dream of being lost represents your attempt to find your way through a situation that's unfamiliar or making you insecure. You may be experiencing a strange or scary situation that is unsettling because it's new. An overwhelming feeling of confusion or uncertainty in waking life. Not knowing what to do next or where to turn. Feeling that you will never escape a problem or find an answer you need. You're lacking the clarity you want in a situation you are not accustomed to. Wanting clarification in business or spirituality. Feeling that you can't restore your life or relationships to normal no matter what you try. A lack of direction. Feeling unprepared for something you are experiencing. A fear losing something secure in your life. Feeling humiliated and not knowing what to do about it. Feeling lost without someone important in your life. Insecure feelings about a partner that has left you. Feeling that you are losing someone special in your life that made you feel secure and don't know how to live without them.

Negatively, dreaming of being lost may be a sign that you are too emotionally dependent on something or someone. A weak independent spirit or lack of self-reliance. Too sensitive about being without someone or something in your life.

Alternatively, being lost in a dream reflects distractions that have made you lose your sense of purpose or direction. Going off on a tangent that distracts you from the big picture. Feeling like you are wasting your time or that your life is going in circles. A warning dream about the potential for bad choices that may lead you astray.

Blind

To dream of being blind represents you or someone else that lacks the ability to notice something directly. A total inability to easily size up a situation or see the truth. A limited or handicapped ability to directly understand a situation.

Blindness in a dream may reflect a heightened need to use body language, gestures, or trickery to test people's reactions to feel their real intentions out.

Negatively, blindness in a dream may be a sign that you are aware of yourself being too deep into a difficult or important situation with no real way to understand it. It may also be a sign that you are uncomfortable lacking direct information.

Example: A man dreamed of walking with a blind person. In waking life he was trying to talk to people he thought were liars and had to speak to them carefully in order to feel out their real intentions.

Forests

To dream of a forest represents an issue that leaves you feeling confused, uncertain, lost, or ejected from arrangements that give you a sense of security. A problem has left you feeling unsatisfied, insecure, or unsettled. A loss of confidence or control.

To dream of deep forests may represent feelings of isolation, fear, confusion, or needing to get through a difficult or confusing situation. Feeling lost. A phase in your life where you are dealing with issues that seem too big to handle, or situations that are hard to understand. The deep forest could be a metaphor for feeling isolated or misunderstood. Feeling overwhelmed with doing the same thing over and over in order to escape a confusing or problem situation. A desire to break free from routine and explore new areas of your life. A deep forest in a dream might also symbolize your desire to retreat and find solace in solitude.

Lose

To dream of losing a possession or something you own represents power, resources, or feelings that you can't have any more. You may be experiencing a significant life change or recently had to stop doing something that made you feel special or important. Feelings about yourself being a loser. Awareness of yourself being jealous. Poor self-image, feeling self-conscious, or a loss of confidence. Fear of your competition being better than you or that you will lose an opportunity.

To dream of losing a competition represents feelings of not being good enough. You may have lost an opportunity that you thought was important. Jealousy that you are not good enough. Jealousy of problems or people you don't like being unstoppable.

Example: A woman dreamed of lost her purse. In waking life she had to give up her Church duties because of other family responsibilities. The church duties gave her a strong purpose in life which she felt she lost.

Example 2: A man dreamed of fearing losing a battle against killer crabs. In waking life he was fearing losing serious health battle.

Ring

To dream of a ring represents commitment being impressive or admirable. Commitment to a relationship or to a new endeavor. Promises made. A reflection of your loyalty to your ideals, responsibilities, beliefs, or other people. Alternatively, a ring may also reflect your desire for commitment. Hoping that someone will want to have a romantic relationship with you.

Negatively, dreaming about a ring may reflect the jealousy of someone else's committed relationship. You may feel that a committed relationship with someone is unattainable or impossible. A commitment to immorality, crime, or evil.

To dream of a gold ring represents feelings of commitment tied to something that feels impressive with being valuable or important to keep. A commitment or promise that is guaranteed. Commitment to relationships that feel too valuable to lose. Feelings about secure relationships, commitments, or promises. It may also reflect your desire for loyalty, security, or permanence.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of having a "God ring" on her finger. In waking life, she was having concerns about her faith and her loyalty to God. In this case, the "God ring" may have reflected her feelings about her commitment to her faith.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of feeling that it was important to wash her ring to restore it to its previous color. In waking life, she was having relationship issues with her partner with whom she was separated from. She felt it was important to speak to her partner about their love for each other to renew their bond. In this case, washing her ring to restore it to its previous color may have reflected her desire to renew and refresh their commitment to each other and restore the relationship to its former state.

Example 5: A young woman dreamed of having silver rings on her fingers. In waking life, she didn't like her job and didn't like the people that she worked with, but stayed because the company offered benefits during COVID while she was divorced. In this case, the silver rings may have reflected her commitment to her job and the people she worked for because it was luckier than running her own business during COVID-19.

Example 6: A woman dreamed of having a silver ring with diamonds on it. In waking life, she met a man 8 months previous who kept making arrangements to meet her, but he kept canceling the plans. In this case, the silver ring may have reflected her commitment to waiting to meet the man she felt lucky with coincidence to have met.

Example 7: A woman dreamed of her ex-boyfriend walking up to her to give her a gold ring. In waking life, she was asking God if her ex-boyfriend was the right one for her or if it was best to let him go. In this case, the gold ring may have reflected her feelings of potential commitment to her ex-boyfriend as someone who was too valuable to let go for the rest of her life.

Thin

To dream of a person or thing that is too thin represents a lack of strength and integrity. You or some aspect of your personality is ineffective or unable to stand up for yourself.

In a positive context dreaming of being thin may symbolize better choices you are making, more success you are experiencing, or more confidence you are feeling. Feeling powerful or deserving in some area of your waking life.
