8PM

Afternoon

To dream of being aware that it is the afternoon represents feelings about the middle point of a project or task, indicating that the dreamer is halfway through and still has work to do. Feelings of being unconcerned with any issues related to running out of time. There is no sense of beginning or ending to a situation while you are in the middle of dealing with an issue.

Afternoon symbolism may not be very significant in a dream unless it is specifically referred to.

Example: A woman dreamed of being at home doing her job counselling a young woman as a minister in the afternoon when her ex-boyfriend knocked on the door and came inside asking where to put his clothes. In waking life, she was preparing for a women's conference and ministering to others. She hadn't thought of her ex in a very long time. In this case, the symbolism for the afternoon may have reflected her feelings about being in the middle of her job or preparation for the women's conference without any concern for time while experiencing a distraction that may have cost her time.

Ancient

To dream of an ancient theme, symbolizes your sense of foundation. You are well-grounded and are able to learn from your past. Feelings about yourself or others as having been involved with something for as long as you can remember. Feeling entitled due to tenure. A long history of involvement or behavior. A situations where you've "always been." Feelings about yourself or others as having a level of importance that is impossible to ignore.

Negatively, ancient things in a dream may reflect an arrogant attitude about being permanently entitled. Feeling that because you always had something that you should never have to change even if it means robbing others of getting to be happy or feel powerful for the first time. Difficulty letting go of old habits or relationships. Difficulty doing new things. Feeling old.

Example: A teenage girl dreamed of being an ancient vampire and trying hard not to bite someone for the first time. In waking life she was trying to be a better daughter to her parents and not use them as much. The ancient vampire symbolism may have reflected her feelings about herself having "always been" an important member of the family who could easily use her parents to get things if she wanted to.

April

To dream of the month of April represents the overall feeling about a situation in your life where you are beginning to feel that something is finally safe or okay after enduring difficulty. It may also reflect the overall mood that something special will soon be happening in your life after a terrible hardship. Feeling stable, but waiting for everything beautiful to begin. Accepting that the overall mood of a situation as inevitably going to get better.

Armageddon

To dream of Armageddon may reflect a struggle between good and bad intentions in your waking life that feels on an emotional level to be of epic proportions. Feeling that all the good you have worked for is at risk of being lost to negative intentions or bad people forever. Feeling that you are emotionally at war with terrible people. An epic struggle of moral strength.

Alternatively, Armageddon may reflect the unforgiving nature of a struggle or conflict in waking life. A difficult or stressful situation that requires your full attention and energy to confront it. Facing a powerful addiction that feels impossible to overcome. Feelings about needing to struggle through a very stressful event or emotional upheaval. A life changing event like a divorce, company takeover, or economic crisis. A serious conflict between right and wrong in your life.

Armageddon may appear in a dream when you have to confront a person or situation that's doing everything to stop you.

August

To dream of the month of August represents the overall feeling about a situation in your life being so dangerous or exhausting that you have to care about it all the time. A prolonged sense that a situation is as exhausting or dangerous as it's going to get before moving on. An overall feeling that an exhausting or dangerous situation might require some time off. Feeling good never being angry about why you have to put up with an exhausting or dangerous situation.

Autumn

To dream of autumn represents your feelings that a good time is over. The best part of a situation or relationship is finished. Life doesn't feel as good as it did before. The sunniness or pleasure of life is gone.

Negatively, autumn may reflect your feelings that rough times are ahead. Feeling that a situation can only go downhill or get worse.

Example: A man dreamed that it was autumn outside. In waking life he had an amazing time at a spiritual retreat and felt his life was going to be boring now that it was over.

Calendar

To dream of a calendar represents your awareness of the passing of time or waiting for something. Noticing how long something takes. The dream may be a sign that you are waiting for a special event, appointment, or important date in the future.

Alternatively, a calendar may reflect your anxieties about the future or your feeling that time is running out in some area of your life.

Example: A woman dreamed of seeing her boyfriend pointing at a calendar. In waking life, her boyfriend was in jail and she was patiently waiting for him to get released.

Example 2: A few days after the 911 attacks on the WTC building a woman dreamed of being inside the WTC building and being unable to find a calendar to find out the date. In waking life, she was watching the news every day and was nervous about any signals from the government that war was coming. Her wish to find a calendar and know the date reflected her wish to get closure about whether it not it was time for the government to go to war.

Clock

To dream of a clock represents an awareness of "what time it is" all the time. A lingering sense of what a situation ultimately means. A strong sense of what you need to do or of what can't be avoided. Alternatively, a clock may reflect your feelings about needing to speed up or slow down in a situation.

To dream of constantly checking a clock or watch it may reflect your anxiety about being not being prepared for something. You may have deadlines you're concerned about.

To dream of a clock that is moving too fast may represent a feeling that there isn't enough time to do what you really wanted in a situation. A sense of being rushed or that something is out of your hands. Time is not on your side. You may feel that you can't stop something.

To dream of a clock moving backwards represents progress or problems that you feel are being reversed. Negatively, you may feel that you are stuck in a rut. Positively, it may reflect a moment of rejuvenation or restoration.

To dream of setting a clock may reflect the setting of an agenda. Defining "what time it is." It may also be a sign that you are making sure things do what they are supposed to.

A stopped or broken clock often appears in the dream of terminally ill or dying patients. A reflection of feeling that time is not on your side.

Example: A man dreamed of seeing a broken clock and feeling that time had run out. In waking life he had a terminal illness and expected death.

Example 2: A man dreamed of seeing a clock stop and then seeing a window open with brilliant white light. In waking life he died shortly after the dream.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of seeing a moon that she thought was a clock. In waking life her ex-boyfriend whom she was still friends with was close to death. The moon that she thought was a clock may have reflected her feelings about "time was running out" for her friend's life.

Clock Tower

To dream of a clock tower represents a situation that is momentous. Taking the time to notice or draw attention to the importance of something.

Counterclockwise

To dream of a counterclockwise direction represents your feelings about a situation proceedings as you would expect it to. Significant accomplishment reversing.

Positively a counterclockwise direction may reflect a reversal of bad expectations. Getting a second chance to correct something you thought you lost.

Dawn

To dream of the dawn represents a fresh start or the end of troubling time. Reemerging into a new stage in your life or new opportunities. Rejuvenation, enlightenment, or a renewed sense of vitality. A dark moment or difficult time may be coming to an end.

Alternatively, the dawn may reflect new insights, new ideas, or new understanding.

Days

To dream of the length of time for a day represents a phase, a development period, or a moment of conflict. Mornings are the beginning of a phase, afternoon the middle, and evening the end of a phase.

Any mention of having to wait until tomorrow may be symbolic of changes occurring after a phase has completed or a problem has ended.

Alternatively, dreaming about any mention of a number of days may be intuitive about a literal need to wait the amount of days mentioned for an event to occur.
