Dolls

To dream of a doll represents feelings about behavior that's innocent about harmlessly complying with whatever it's told while keeping appearances intact. Behavior that molds or complies to your wishes because you liked it to while keeping appearances intact. Your expectations of other people doing what you want because they are innocent or young. Feelings about people, relationships, or aspects of yourself that are emotionally passive, controllable, or expected to behave a certain way without questioning it. Children may dream of dolls to represent their feelings about themselves innocently doing exactly what their parents tell them to do.

Alternatively, a doll may represent your own tendency to be perfect for someone else. Feelings about yourself being well behaved and perfectly compliant. Acting like a "perfect little girl."

Negatively, a doll may represent feelings about other people naively or passively complying with exactly what you want them to. Waking life situations where you are controlling someone who never disagrees with you. Treating people as though they exist only to fulfill roles or expectations. Arrogantly assuming that someone else is too stupid or little to think for themselves.

To dream of a doll turning into a dinosaur or monster may represent your feelings about passive and harmlessly compliant people turning on you. Gentle or innocent people beginning to assert themselves or stick up for themselves. Conflict with people who don't like to be patronized or spoken to like they are stupid. Total embarrassment that you have thought too highly of yourself with someone.

Example: A young girl dreamed of her doll becoming mean to her. She feared and hated the doll in the dream. In waking life, she was going through puberty and having issues with her mother no longer treating like like a little girl anymore. In this case, the doll may have reflected her feelings about herself disliking being told to grow up for the first time, and no longer being treated like an innocent, passive, obedient little girl who was expected to harmlessly comply with her mother's wishes without questioning them.

The progressively narrowing river in this case may have reflected her changing feelings about the temporary state of pain or discomfort required to cross through in order to successfully die.

Example 6: A man dreamed of seeing both his hands reaching outwards hoping someone would grab them, but nobody ever did. In waking, the man tried everything to offer assistance to criminals to change their ways, but in the end it was for nothing and they had to be arrested. A lie or misunderstanding that heavily influences you.

Alternatively, a tiger may reflect your own unquestioned authority. Feeling other people fear confronting you.

Negatively, a tiger may reflect an unquestioned fear. Running away from problems based on assumptions. Rumors that scare you. Assuming that your enemies have more power than you without question. A lack of critical thinking about something serious you've heard. Feeling that problem is too dangerous to even consider thinking about confronting and choosing to run away from it as a first option.
