Parrots

To dream of a parrot represents feelings about being more experienced at being exceptional than other people while noticing never wanting to listen to their feelings. Often a symbol for repeating what you've heard to others. Repeating expert advice. Behavior that accepts itself listening to whatever it's told without thinking about it. Empty headed repeating. Repeating without thinking for yourself.

Negatively, dreaming of a parrot may reflect repeating advice without thinking. Passing on bad advice thinking it's good. Not thinking for yourself or never experiencing something yourself while believing your more intelligent than someone else.

Blue parrots may represent repeating positive information. Red parrots represent repeating negative information or lying about recalled information.

To dream of shoes represents your approach to life or a situation. How you choose to deal with situations. Your style or methodology for confronting problems. Our principles, morals, objectives, or motivations. Look to the color and style of shoe for additional symbolism.

To dream of getting a new pair of shoes represents new methods of approaching situations or going about life. New ideas, new insights, or new skills that are transforming your outlook. Confronting problems differently or changing how you interact with people.

To dream of shoes that are too cramped represents an approach to a situation that is too limiting and ineffective.

To dream of changing your shoes represents changing your approach to a situation. Different methods or ideas are being used.

To dream of taking your shoes off represents giving up your approach to a situation. You may have found that certain ideas or methods are not useful to you. Retiring from a situation or challenge. Negatively, it may be a sign that you are giving up or giving in too easily.

To dream of polishing shoes represents an attempt to look perfect or "polished" with your methods of dealing with a situation. Not wanting to look nervous, inexperienced, or immoral in any way at all. Wanting to look good knowing what you are talking about to others or like you can be trusted. You may be concerned about making a good first impression or that you are beyond criticism.

To dream of a pair of sneakers (running shoes) represents an approach to a situation that is casual or worry free. Playing it cool. Not taking life too seriously. Comfort and satisfaction with yourself and who you are.

Example 3: A man dreamed that the soles of his shoes were worn out and that new soles were only allowed for Nazi Storm Troopers. In waking life he was living in Nazi Germany and once he had exhausted his ability to secretly avoid Nazi restrictions he felt forced to accept them to continue his life normally.

Example 4: A woman dreamed of being unable to find a certain pair of shoes. In waking life she was unable to find a way to deal with a problem she had.

Skin

To dream of skin represents the mental and emotional boundaries between you, other people, and the events of your life. It's how you protect or resist attacks on your feelings or ego.

Alternatively, skin in dreams may reflect your ability to like yourself or feel good about yourself. Heightened sensitivity or not feeling good about something. Not feeling good about what someone said to you. Hurtful comments.

Having no skin would symbolize complete vulnerability to negative influences or emotional attack. Seeing others with no skin would represent aspects of your personality with no ability to feel good ever again. Positively, seeing someone with no skin may in a dream reflect a an aspect of yourself that is experiencing strong emotional influences. A total lack of concern for how you feel in order to achieve a difficult or incredible goal.

To dream of burned skin may reflect feelings about someone intentionally trying to make you never feel good again. The consequences of our actions or others actions that leave us feelings of having been "burned" emotionally by someone close to us.

To see creatures that burrow under the skin would symbolize problems that bug you or that have gotten to you. Feeling "creeped out."

To dream of a snake shedding skin represents feelings about yourself or others no longer having to notice the bad things they done ever again. Negatively, this may reflect a corrupt person getting worse. Positively, it may reflect feelings ab out yourself or a bad person getting the chance to move on with their lives.

Crystal Meth addict often hallucinate about bugs burrowing holes and crawling under their skin. This may symbolize their annoyance about the drug's effects feeling to have permanently worn off and leaving the addict unable to feel good about themselves anymore.

Example: A man dreamed seeing a woman with all her skin ripped off by a huge knife. In waking life he was experiencing a dramatic worsening of a skill condition that didn't allow him to have any confidence in himself at all.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of seeing her friends recently deceased daughter jump into her skin which was hanging in a closet. In waking life the woman was helping her friend clean out her dead daughter's closet and felt she had to put on an enthusiastic attitude about the dead daughter's life each time she went over to the home to help clean out the dead daughter's belongings.

Example 3: A man dreamed of trying to prick his father's skin with a syringe. In waking life he was trying to convince his father to get a job when it was very important to fix his life up.

Turquoise

To dream of turquoise represents positive healing. You may be noticing problems or negativity in some area of your life going away. You may be experiencing improvements, luck, success, or good fortune.

Negative feelings towards turquoise in a dream may be sign that you are shutting off your emotions or not letting people in. You may fear change.
