Dream: In my dream I was crossing an ocean or river in a ferry, it was dark outside like night time, the waves were very tumultuous, raging, at one point in dream seen many passengers also trying to Cross, some went in smaller boats like row boats trying to Cross, but the waves were so tumultuous some seemed like they were drowning, some made it across but were soaken wet, was back on ferry looking for my drivers license to show to get off ferry, at one time seen my mother who wanted to get across also but she was on phone making reservations to go to motel for the night with my sister, I was on phone making a call to cancel an appointment because I decided not to chance going over the tumultuous Waters, didn't want to chance the dangerous waters, then looking up seen the ferry from a far off, like in a distance.

Significant Life Events: My grandson taken by CPS in California, my sons rights being taken from him, so they can adopt my grandson and his brother out.

Fear of never seeing my grandson once he's adopted out.

Thinking of suing CPS for legally kidnapping my grandson.

Background: Woman 60 years of age, white, Christian.

Mental Illness Or Depression: No

Location: Oak Harbor, Washington, united states

Feelings About People: Only one seen in dream mom and sister, have good relationship with them,
Other people in dream, feel they too are trying to Cross but felt they too have a problem crossing,
They too feel like waves were drowning them, feel they needed help too but received none

Relationship Status: Not married, not dating, was divorced many years ago, not interested in dating

When And How Often: This dream happened may 20,2018 not a recurring dream

I wonder if this dream reflects your wish to get involved in the legal proceedings, but then decide not to. Water reflects uncertainty or a negative emotional situation. You are trying to cross this. Your situation is very uncertain or emotionally negative with worrying about this child.

At the end you decide not to chance the dangerous waters with the ferry and the ferry is off in the distance. They may reflect your feelings about not getting involved. Deciding not to chance it. Your thoughts about chancing it "off in the distance" as you consider the urge to fight or confront passed. You also cancel an appointment in the dream. Does that reflect you cancelling a lawyer or cancelling the thought of calling a lawyer?

Tell me more about your thoughts or feelings about confronting the government.

Hello, I have no fear of confronting the government or CPS, in my past when raising my children CPS came to my door twice, once when my children were 4&6 and again when they were teen-agers, I always stood up against CPS trying to take my children, the reason for uncertainty CPS can be very deceitful and turn everything a person says around for their benefit and finding a lawyer to help with no money is difficult, however I have reached out to lawyers but none so far have returned any of my emails, I am a praying Christian I believe the Lord told me to fight, I'm praying for an open door, as to how to fight this with no lawyer, now a days you need a lawyer in these kinds of matters, my son just wants to give up, he's very discouraged about all this. Thank you

I wonder if the ferry represents a lawyer. The feeling of being in a lawyers office or on the phone while he does things for you to deal with negative emotional situation of CPS? In the end you watch the ferry from a distance possibly to symbolize not being able to afford the lawyer anymore? A distant idea that is passed by?

The dream sounds like it's showing that the problem with CPS feeling too much to deal with?? The end may show you accepting giving up or considering it?
